Responses to my query about RustFesting to Toronto have lead
to a plan for a "Just before the RHF" RustFest with possibly
the biggest finale yet: The Symphony of FireFest.
Each year in Toronto there's an international fireworks
competition held on the edge of Lake Ontario. Last year's
winner was Italy. Next week, on Wednesday, June 24, Italy
will be again be "performing" for this year's competition.
Their performance begins at 10pm, and is idealy viewed in
the Toronto amusement park known as Ontario Place.
Rusties from the area, plus the Nuclear RE*AC*TOR Family,
and any other Rusties who wish to make the scene, will
gather earlier that evening to eat, drink, and just hang out.
Grounds admission to Ontario Place is $9.95 (Canadian) per
person for the whole day. RE*AC*TRESS, Free Bird and I
plan to be in the park to enjoy the rides and attractions
by some time earlier in the afternoon. We'll set up meeting
places and times for anyone arriving later.
If you're interested in connecting up with the Rusties who
will be there, drop me a note and I'll make sure that you
get all the info. I'll also post more details about meeting
times and places here later.
Hope to see lots of folks there, and/or in Cleveland
shortly there-after...
